About the Center

Located on the hospital's first floor, the Radiation Oncology Center offers plenty of nearby parking and a separate entrance for the convenience of patients and families. The department is equipped with a simulator, a linear accelerator for external radiation therapy, a CT scanner and three-dimensional and IMRI treatment planning computers. A high dose rate (HDR) unit is available to provide internal radiation therapy when needed.  A CyberKnife stereostacitc radiosurgery machine provides specialized treatment to some types of brain, spine, lung, and abdominal and pelvic tumors.
