Central Baptist Hospital Outpatient Infusion Center
 
The Outpatient Infusion Center provides care for patients who need infusions of medications, chemotherapy, intraveneous hydration, blood and support therapies for treating cancer, infections and other conditions.

Services

We offer a full range of infusion services, including:
  • Injections
  • IV fluid administration
  • IV antibiotic administration
  • Chemotherapy administration
  • Blood and blood product transfusions
  • Phlebotomy from venous access devices
  • Bone marrow aspirations
  • PICC line insertion and care
  • Thoracentesis
  • Paracentesis
  • Lumbar puncture

Staffing

Our knowledgeable, experienced nursing staff combines high standards of clinical excellence with individualized patient care. All nurses are credentialed in chemotherapy administration and most are oncology certified nurses (OCN).

Patient Centered Care

Located in suite 703 of the 1720 Building on Central Baptist Hospital's campus, the Outpatient Infusion Center is designed with your comfort in mind. Treatments are provided in private and semiprivate rooms equipped with recliners. You can relax and read, watch television or listen to music during your treatment. Family members are welcome to stay with you.

The center is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and by appointment on weekends to help you get the treatment you need at times convenient for you and your family.
